LashBack Unsubscribe Blacklist
LashBack has been monitoring sender unsubscribe compliance since 2003. During this period, LashBack has compiled sender unsubscribe compliance failure in four primary categories:
- Senders who fail to provide a working unsubscribe mechanism
- Senders who do not honor unsubscribe requests within 10 business days
- Senders who allow consumer unsubscribe requests to be abused (i.e., shared with other parties to send more spam)
- Senders who are taking suppression lists from other organizations and sending email to these lists

[edit] Listing Criteria
- Unsubscribe abusers
LashBackâs UBL only lists the IP addresses of senders who are using email addresses harvested from suppression lists (point 4).
[edit] Problems
- The mail server which sends the offending email may be innocent; eg, if a compromised end user's machine is used to send mail via their normally configured mail server.
[edit] Zones
- ubl.unsubscore.com (Hosts sending mail to harvested addresses)
- http://www.unsubscore.com/blacklist.txt UBL in Text-Format (Simple IP-List)
